What would it be like if we truly embraced all the colors in Santa Paula and beyond? On this day when we kick off First Quarter giving of 2022, Rev. Maddie thinks about the newly formed De Colores Multicultural Folk Arts , an artist-centered, nonprofit corporation that continues the legacy of the late Xavier "Big X" Montes and his vision of a world of racial & economic equality, by inspiring youth, artists, culture makers and culture bearers through the arts espousing his philosophy of peace and social justice.
