Dr. Betty Stapleford and our Social Concerns Action Committee invite you to a Zoom showing of the documentary "Soledad" followed by a Q and A with its producer Lisa Molonot. This will happen on Zoom on Friday, March 25 at 7 PM. This is a rare opportunity for us to learn about our asylum system first hand. This 24-minute film tells the story of a woman, Soledad, from Central America who fled gang violence and torture to seek asylum in the U.S., only to find herself imprisoned at the Eloy Detention Center. Soledad and a team of women join forces to win her asylum.
