IN PERSON AND ON ZOOM
In our first MLK event since the pandemic, all are invited to a community celebration event of music and inspiration in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. on Sunday, January 14 at 4:00 PM to strengthen our ability to continue creating positive change. Originally performed in New York City on April 4, 1969, our Tribute celebrates that "We Can Make a Difference!" Readers will be Marques Guy and the Rev. Jenny Crosswhite along with members of the Santa Paula Ministerial Association. Sung music will be accompanied by members of the Studio C Septet and led by song leader the Rev. Maddie Sifantus. This event is dedicated to the memories of Larry Cossid, leader of the Studio C Band and Pastor Lupita Alonso Redondo, a former reader in this event. The audience is invited to stay for refreshments and time to greet one another. Sponsored by the Santa Paula Ministerial Association and hosted by the Universalist Unitarian Church of Santa Paula, located at 740 E Main Street. Parking on the street and in parking lots near the library and 8th and Main Streets.
