Service: Weaving Justice: César Chávez, Trans Visibility, and the Fabric of Human Rights

Day and Time
Sunday Mar 30, 10:30 AM - 11:30 AMDetails
With Kate English and Marybeth East
As March 31st marks both César Chávez Day and Transgender Day of Visibility, we reflect on how these movements for farmworker justice and trans liberation are connected by shared struggles for dignity, equity, and human rights. Inspired by Loretta Ross's vision of a human rights movement woven together with legal protections, this sermon explores how we can honor the legacies of these movements while standing boldly with those most marginalized today. Together, let us strengthen the threads of justice in our interconnected world.
