Once more the fraudulent folks are at work. They often like to target churches, with fraudulent emails, Messenger, fake Facebook and Instagram requests and now text messages. There is a current text message making the rounds that says it is from Rev. Maddie Sifantus. If you look closely, it is not my phone number they are using but one that resembles it. I would never text any of our members or friends asking for money or gift cards. In fact, if you get asked by anyone to respond to what sounds like an emergency by sending money or gift cards, it is a scam. Do not click on anything or respond in any way. And you can always call me as two of you did.
