Our regular Sunday events for March 15th will be held as planned, keeping in mind that you should stay home if you feel unwell, are medically fragile or are worried about going out. We plan to try to Livestream the morning worship service on the church’s Facebook page, going live a little before 10:30 AM until about 11:30 AM. The service will be Hope Beyond Despair by Rev. Dr. Betty Stapleford with Worship Host Michelle Cowan. Rev. Maddie Sifantus will speak briefly to the congregation during the Announcements about our plans for dealing with the Coronavirus. She will go downstairs with the children after the Time for All Ages with our children and Caregiver Yvette Sanchez. There will be no Coffee Hour. There will be hand sanitizer at all doors and families should sit in their family group; all other should leave 2-3 seats between them. We will not pass the plates for the Offering but will leave them on the altar table where you can leave your offering or you can give through the website donation button.
Jean McGregor’s Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be at 2 PM in the Sanctuary as planned. If you feel you cannot attend but have memories you would like to share with the family and congregation, please send them to Rev. Maddie at minister@uucsp.org.
