Advent has been observed for centuries and certainly in the earlier years of this congregation. We are in the midst of the season of holidays, from this Sunday which is the first day of Advent in the Christian calendar and tomorrow is the first day of Hanukkah. How can we use this season for a time of reflection rather than give into the busyness and consumerism in what for some can be the most stressful time of the year?
