Steve Lee is a middle school teacher in Van Nuys California. Steve Has been teaching English Learners, Special Education Students, and General Ed since 2001. He is the president of the Val Verde Air Monitoring Program, where they test the quality of air for a minority community living adjacent to a landfill. Steve has a Masters Degree in Education and a Theatre Degree from the University of Northridge. Steve publicly fought the expansion of Chiquita Canyon Landfill expansion and has been an outspoken writer against injustices carried out to minorities living so close to a landfill that accepts deadly chemicals.
